Why recycled?
Producing rPet requires 33% to 53% less energy than producing polyester from scratch. Additionally, rPet produces about 54.6% less CO2 emissions into the air than pure polyester.

By using recycled materials to make things like this high-waisted bikini, at least some of the plastic waste produced doesn't end up in landfills.
